These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of paperclip.cards (the “App”), a spaced repetition flashcard application for iOS and macOS, operated by an individual developer (“I,” “me,” or “my”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
By accessing or using paperclip.cards, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
paperclip.cards is a personal productivity app that lets you create notes, generate flashcards, organize them into decks, and study them using spaced repetition (FSRS algorithm). The App is free to use. No purchases are required.
You agree not to:
Your use of the App is also governed by my Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described there. Your data is stored using Supabase and is subject to their data processing terms.
All code, design, and non-user content in the App are my property or used with permission. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the App's branding, trademarks, or source code.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. Use at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data. My total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to access the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
I may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time; deleting your account will remove your data.
I may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New York.
If you have questions about these Terms, you can reach me through the feedback form in the App or via the App Store support link.
